In skin tests, species-dependent no-to-mild irritation potential was seen (no irritation in the guinea pig, mild irritation in the rabbit); eye irritation is the basis of the H319 classification. In sensitization tests in humans (HRIPT) and in animals, no sensitizing potential was found. Genotoxicity (Ames test, chromosome aberration test) also tested consistently negative. Not a PBT or vPvB substance, not assessed as an endocrine disruptor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA positive point: Sandalore™ is readily biodegradable (78% degradation within 28 days, OECD 301F) and additionally inherently biodegradable (75% within 35 days, OECD 302C).
