Organic Rosemary Oil is an essential oil from organic cultivation with a fresh, herbal-camphoraceous character – shaped by its high content of eucalyptol and camphor, complemented by a complex palette of natural terpenes.

Role in the formula
Organic Rosemary Oil brings a fresh, herbal-camphoraceous top note into a composition and is frequently used in aromatic, fougère-type or herb-focused accords. The high content of eucalyptol and camphor gives the oil a penetrating freshness, while components such as linalool, beta-caryophyllene and terpineol provide additional richness of facets.
Use in perfumery
The manufacturer gives no specific dosage recommendation for this material in the available documentation. As with any new aroma material, it is advisable to start with small amounts in diluted form and increase gradually according to your own scent impression.
Practical note: dissolving, storing, combining
Dissolving: Practically insoluble in water, readily soluble in ethanol.
Storing: Store in tightly closed, preferably well-filled containers, cool, dry and well-ventilated, protected from light. Keep strictly away from ignition sources – the material is flammable.

Liq. 3, H226 (flammable liquid and vapor), Skin Irrit. 2, H315 (causes skin irritation), Eye Irrit. 2, H319 (causes serious eye irritation), Skin Sens. 1, H317 (may cause an allergic skin reaction), STOT SE 2, H371 (may cause damage to organs), Asp. Tox. 1, H304 (may be fatal if swallowed and enters the airways), and Aquatic Chronic 2, H411 (toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects). Signal word: Danger.
Of particular note: in case of accidental swallowing, do not induce vomiting (aspiration hazard) – immediately contact a poison information center or a doctor. The oil contains known contact allergens and can cause allergic reactions in sensitive skin. Protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection are strongly recommended when handling the undiluted material. For alpha-pinene and beta-pinene, occupational exposure limits (VLA-ED) of 20 ppm or 113 mg/m³ respectively (8-hour average) apply in Spain.
The product is not classified as a PBT or vPvB substance and, according to the safety data sheet, contains no components with known endocrine properties. For transport: UN 1197 (extracts, liquid), Class 3, Packing Group III.
