Use in perfumery

Practical note: dissolving, storing, combining
Dissolving: Practically insoluble in water, readily soluble in ethanol.
Storing: Store in tightly closed, preferably well-filled containers, cool, dry and well-ventilated, protected from light. Keep away from ignition sources.

Of particular note is the aspiration-hazard classification (H304): in case of accidental swallowing, do not induce vomiting, as the material can become life-threatening if it enters the airways – if swallowed, immediately contact a poison information center or a doctor. The high M-factor of 10 for aquatic toxicity also indicates a particularly pronounced hazard potential for aquatic organisms; the material must under no circumstances enter wastewater, waterways or drains.
