Role in the formula
Ultrazur™ is a perfumery blend (base), not a single substance. It delivers the complete construction of a marine accord – from the fresh top note to the ozonic depth – already calibrated, instead of having to assemble it yourself from individual components such as dihydromyrcenol, Calone types and aldehydes. This makes Ultrazur™ a fast, reproducible starting point for marine, aromatic and fresh compositions.
Use in perfumery
Ultrazur™ is suited to marine and ozonic compositions, aromatic men's fragrances, fresh unisex directions and aldehydic accords. As it is a highly concentrated specialty base with several strongly active components, work is generally done with a dilution (e.g. 10% in DPG or ethanol) rather than with the undiluted material.
Practical note: dissolving, storing, combining
Dissolving: Practically insoluble in water. As a liquid concentrate, readily miscible with ethanol and common perfumery solvents.
Storing: Store at 10–30 °C, dry and well-ventilated. Protect from light. Keep containers tightly closed.
Combining: Blends well with citrus notes, aromatic herbal notes and woody and musky bases that round out and extend the marine top.

Ultrazur™ is classified under GHS with the signal word "Danger." In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.
Declared components include, among others, dihydromyrcenol (2,6-dimethyl-7-octen-2-ol, 30–50%), a Calone-related benzodioxepinone (3–5%) and several aldehydes and a musky macrocycle in smaller proportions. The flash point is 78 °C (Grabner Miniflash, closed cup) – the material is a flammable liquid. Ecologically, water hazard class 2 applies in Germany.
