Buy sandalwood aroma chemicals – Javanol, Sandalore, Ebanol

Synthetic aroma chemicals with a sandalwood odour. All three are base notes, are long-lasting and blend well with musk, amber and floral notes.

  • Javanol (Givaudan): creamy-milky, warm, with a rose facet. Very powerful, effective even at low dosages.
  • Sandalore (Givaudan): warm, sweetish, milky. Lasts about three weeks on a smelling strip.
  • Ebanol (Givaudan): drier than the other two, woody-milky with a floral facet. Strong.

Which sandalwood molecule?

Javanol™ is the strongest of the three and is dosed correspondingly low – which is why it is also available in 10 ml. Sandalore™ brings warm, sweetish fullness, Ebanol™ the drier, woodier side. Two of them are often combined. Sandalore™ and Ebanol™ are available from 20 ml (from €17) to 1 kg, Javanol™ from 10 ml (from €29) to 300 ml.
