  • Labdanum 20% in TEC: resin of the rockrose (Cistus). Warm, leathery, balsamic; for amber and leather accords.
  • Black Pepper Oil: warm, spicy oil of black pepper. Main component is beta-caryophyllene.
  • Rosemary Oil Bio: fresh, herbal rosemary oil with a camphoraceous note and eucalyptol.
  • Patchoulol: the odour-defining component of patchouli oil. Earthy-woody, solid.
  • Thujopsene 70: main constituent of Texas cedarwood oil. Dry, warm, woody.
  • Tobacco Absolute Low Nico: absolute from tobacco leaves (Nicotiana tabacum) with reduced nicotine content; for tobacco and leather accords.

Oil, absolute or isolate?

Essential oils (black pepper, organic rosemary) bring the full profile of the plant. Patchoulol and Thujopsene 70 are single components obtained from such oils: narrower in odour, more consistent in effect. Labdanum comes as 20% in TEC, which makes it pourable. Available from 5 ml (Tobacco Absolute) or 10 ml/10 g, most oils up to 300 ml.

Why is the labdanum diluted?

Labdanum absolute is viscous. Adjusted to 20% in triethyl citrate (TEC), it can be dosed cleanly.
